At the Annual General Meeting of publishing, events and multimedia company Vitesse Media Plc (AIM: VIS), which will be held at 10am today, the Company's Chairman, Sara Williams, will make the following statement: 'The Company has continued to make strong progress since the announcement of its results in July including the completion of a comprehensive review of our five brands, comprising Growth Company Investor/GrowthCompany.co.uk, BusinessXL/GrowthBusiness.co.uk, SmallBusiness.co.uk, M&Amagazine/MandADeals.co.uk and What Investment/ www.WhatInvestment.co.uk

'The strength of our business lies in the breadth of our activities and is underpinned by annual subscriptions and a calendar of leading industry events. I am pleased to report that online advertising also remains strong with our digital display inventory being sold on a monthly basis and bookings for our events, such as our major awards events and seminars, continually exceeding expectations. The Company will be able to begin to leverage the full potential of its assets now that the full marketing team is in place, in particular focusing on driving subscription income and sales of research reports and other publications.

'The Group is increasingly becoming viewed as the source of informed comment by the market and its online offerings are attracting significantly larger volumes of traffic. The redesign of the Growth Company Investor website, www.GrowthCompany.co.uk, scheduled for completion in Autumn 2007, is aimed at increasing its value further to both subscribers and non subscribers. The outlook for 2008 remains encouraging both in terms of organic growth and opportunities to diversify the spread of our activities by acquisition.'
